Sponsorship
 

The Spanish Club sponsors children who live in poverty in a Spanish speaking country. Right now we have one child in Peru.
We got to visit him on Spring Break, 2007!

The sponsorship money is raised through the purchase of vocabulary CD's made specifically for each chapter of our Spanish 1, 2, and 3 classes, and donations from Spanish students.
100% of the funds earned from the CD's goes into the Child Sponsorship Fund.

If you have donated to the Sponsor A Child fund through the Spanish Club, either through a direct donation or purchasing a vocabulary CD for the chapters in your Spanish book, you get the opportunity to help even more by sending him something, or writing a short letter. Below are some tips that will help you help us show our sponsored children that they are in our thoughts.

Things that are ok to send to our sponsored children

You can enclose small paper items: postcards, greeting cards, bookmarks, stamps, pages from coloring books, appropriate photos, and pictures
Give anything you would like to send to your Spanish teacher.
