Samantha Danielle Dobson Memorial Scholarship

1. History of the Scholarship –

This award was established in memory of Samantha Dobson in 2006. The money for the scholarship is raised through a summer fundraiser put on by her friends and family.

2. Scholarship – $400.00 (Non-renewable)

Scholarship to be paid directly to the educational institution, and may be used for either tuition or room/board.

3. Eligible Applicants –

          The family is looking for a kind, fun, loving young person, who is willing to go above and beyond to help others. Being interested in nursing is a must.

4. Criteria for Selection –

          1. Applicant must be interested in a nursing program.
          2. Please write an essay describing why you think you should receive this scholarship, and answer the given essay questions.
          3. Provide two letters of recommendation.

5. Selection Procedure –

          The family of Samantha Dobson will read through the applicants and do their best to choose the right candidate.
