Congratulations and thank you to The Chiefs, Smilies, Let's Do This!, The Bowel Movement, ¡Tráelo!, Sharp Cheddar, The Barbarians, The Destroyers, Equitēs, Los Cocodrilos, The Purple Cobras, Differentiated Dodgers, and Hyatt A, B, and C. |
| Hyatt El went to the finals again, this time with Hyatt C instead of A, but L.H.S. took the trophy from them in the final match. The High School teachers, The Chiefs, quickly dispatched of their students in ¡Tráelo!, but the loss of their leader, Mr. Ciesielski, to the trimester meeting hurt them a lot, and they lost their next two matches to The Bowel Movement and Equitēs. |
| The Bowel Movement quickly flushed former principal Mr. Boudreau, the leader of Hyatt B, and the high school teachers before losing to The Smilies, who were dominating the losers bracket, until getting done in by the eventual champion, Let's Do This! in one of the final rounds. After losing to the teachers, ¡Tráelo! took revenge on Hyatt B, and the Purple Cobras of Central Elementary who had dispatched The Barbarians in the first round, before The Smilies eventually took them out too. The only team all night to frown on The Smilies was Let's Do This! The Differentiated Dodgers of Linden Middle School won their first match, but then lost to Hyatt C in the match of the night, and couldn't dodge the attack of, once again, The Smilies. |
| The underdog story of the night was the team Equitēs, who lost their first game, but then sent multiple teams home before being eaten by Los Cocodrilos in a re-match of the first round, including destroying The Destroyers, who who had just sent Sharp Cheddar and last year's champs, Hyatt A, packing. Equitēs also sent the Linden High School teachers, The Chiefs, and The Barbarians, home to think about next year. Los Cocodrilos won a lot of games, but finally were done in in the finals of the loser's bracket by The Smilies. |
| The runner-up Hyatt C, had an undefeated run to the finals as they sliced Sharp Cheddar, and had an amazing comeback win in the second round against the Differentiated Dodgers where one girl took on the whole team and eventually won. They handed Los Cocodrilos their first loss, and then beat Let's Do This! in a preview of the finals. |
| Let's Do This! had a tough road to the finals. They beat The Smilies in the first round, then had to take on last year's champs, Hyatt A. They were undefeated until they ran into the dodgeball juggernaut Hyatt C, who sent them to face the winner of the loser's bracket, The Smilies, in a rematch of the first round. After they won, it was do or die as they faced Hyatt C again. After two hard fought games because Hyatt C was still undefeated, Let's Do This! came out on top and get their name engraved on the coveted Patches O'Houlihan Memorial Trophy. |
